Remembering Uncle Frank
This is our story of our son Kaden. We found out at 18 weeks that Kaden had a 'congenital diaphragmatic hernia', CDH. Even though our outcome was not what we prayed for, we hope within Kaden's story you will find information, hope, support and links to others who can make the difficult journey a little easier. We are "The CDH Family"...
Yeah Kaden !!!
ReplyDeleteThanks sooo much for the updates, it keeps your stalkers at bay and happy.
Still praying and knowing God's hand is in it all. Have faith, stay strong and know that your not fighting alone !

Go Kaden, Go Kaden! Keep tee-teeing and getting rid of fluid.
ReplyDeleteCraig and Kristi - (although it's easier said than done) hang in there. CDH is such a rollercoaster. We also liked to refer the 2 steps forward, 1 step back as the "NICU Shuffle".
We love you guys and so many people are praying for Kaden and y'all.
Love,
Leigh Creekbaum
mom to Angel Grayton, 5/9/08 - 6/22/08
Awesome news. Hope that he keeps this up today!!! :-) Thinking of you guys today and hoping that Kaden continues with those baby steps. Has to be encouraging to see, for both you and the doctors (see they don't always know what they are talking about!)

We're happy to hear that Kaden had a good night. Jaime is on the oscillating vent, too. That has been a true gem for him today!
ReplyDeleteHang in there Kaden, we're all praying for you!

I am a friend of Liz and I am rooting for Kaden and praying for continued improvements. My warm thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see him doing so well! I just wanted to ask, have you contacted the Ronald McDonald house in SF? Its about 10 miles from the hospital but they will let you stay for $5-$25 a night instead of a hotel. Heres the info. They are set up to help families just like you. Give them a call and see if they can help you out.
