HERE IS MOMMY GETTING A QUICK NAP WHILE SITTING IN THE NICU WITH KADENKaden has had another good day. No changes from earlier today. He continues to keep his stats at a stable level, and he is still getting rid of lots of fluid. Kristi and I left Kaden around 6:00PM and have just checked into our hotel. We are so tired of having to lug all of our stuff around. We feel like a couple of gypsies moving from one place to another. But, Kaden is well worth it, and it's a must to be close to him during these times. Not much more to report today. Hope that he just keeps up his stats and keeps losing fluids over the weekend. We will post another update tomorrow unless things change between now and then. Keep up the prayers please.

My boys are watching Kung Fu Panda right now and I was thinking of Kaden and had to go check for an update!! What a warrior...keep using those Kung Fu skills Kaden and showing those doctors how strong you are. Praying he has a very good night and continues to have a good weekend. I understand living out of a suitcase and moving around, but like you said it is well worth it. Kristi and Craig, you are amazing parents and Kaden is lucky to have such a strong family right there by his side. You can tell those "Grandmas" are very proud to call Kaden their grandson.
ReplyDeleteHave a restfull night! (((HUGS))) - Tracy, Ian's mommy
Good to hear all the great news! I know it will be hard to relax not being at the hospital tonight with him, but TRY! I know it's not the Ritz, but try and enjoy a good nights sleep in a bed! Look forward to hearing that the surgery is a go and that all is going well. Hang in there!

ReplyDeleteHello Craig and Kristi,
ReplyDeleteI can say that I relate to the exhaustion of this journey, but you are also right, the boys are well worth the trouble!
Tom and I are so happy to see that Kaden is holding his own! That's all any of us can hope for at this point!
We're continuing to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers...and thank you for the prayers for Jaime, too!
Best wishes,

ReplyDeleteHi Craig and Kristi,
ReplyDeleteI talked to your dad the day after Easter and heard all that is going on with this precious bundle of joy and have been following along with the blog ever since. You both are being so strong and smart with all that you are doing for Kaden; he is a very lucky little boy. I have been praying every night for his recovery and God does listen to prayers. I love you guys and I'm so sorry for you and Kaden having to go through all of this.
Love,
Angela and Tara
I'm so happy to see the progress that Kaden is making. It's hard to believe that just days ago, the doctors were saying they have done all they could do. Look at him go!!! I'm so proud of him and y'all. Still keeping you in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest and we look forward to the next update.
Love, Stephanie
