I WOULD JUST LIKE TO THANK ADDSION AND MAXTON FOR LOOKING OVER KADEN AND GIVING HIM GOOD ADVISE ON HOW TO BEAT THIS CDH!!
We just let Kaden's bedside so that he can rest tonight. He is still doing absolutely GREAT!!! His numbers are still in the low 90's with splits to lower body in the 80's. He is still peeing 4X the normal amount. We decided to let him have a nice quiet night. We have been trying not to bother him much today due to his stats being so good. We all figured out that the more paralysed he is, the better his stats are. So we have been trying to to touch him too much today, just talk to him and tell him what a great job he is doing and how much we love him.
Today, Kristi got to wash all the goobers out of his hair and comb it out. It looks so good. His hair is so long and beautiful. He is losing so much of his excess fluid. I love him so much!! I can't wait to see him move around some more, bit it's well worth the sacrifice to have him not moving as long as he is improving. They moved his O2 settings down to 80 and plan on moving it down some more tonight. Keep the prayers coming. We plan on trying to get some well needed rest tonight! Talk to you all tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteWe are here with Grandma Debbie and I KNOW She's worried about leaving you guys! but we've had this planned since Grandma Dieterle passed away. Sorry it's not at a very great time with all your worries and Kaden with his problems. WE will all be checking the Blog, daily if we can and our prayers will be heard, yes.....even in the S. I have been telling Maxton to give Kaden encouraging words all along (then when Kaden wasn't doing so well I told Maxton to make sure he and Kaden weren't getting to close because Kaden needed to stay here with you all and Maxton didn't need to be selfish... lesson learned!) Sounds like the talks are helping out. :-) I am so glad to hear he is doing well and those sats sound great!!! I knew he just needed time... if all of us CDH families know that, you would think the doctors would!!! CDH babies are all on their own schedule.. i think they are just way stubborn and don't like hearing doctors trying to run the show.. it's their show, they wanna run it! Hope you guys can get some rest. I think of you constantly. Many prayers and much love!!!

yay for great stats! i hope that you ALL get the rest that you need tonight. i love the idea of the angel babies watching over kaden and giving him advice and strength. that is such a sweet thought. know that we are praying and anxiously awaiting more good news on our little fighter!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that Kaden's stats are staying staedy band with in good ranges. I have always known that Kaden would be a little miracle because he is a fighter and he has my sweet Addison as a guardian angel. Lots of love and hugs from Atlanta.

ReplyDeleteSuch great news to hear that Kaden is really progressing well. I will pray that he continues to do so. I check several times a day for updates and I love to see that the prayers working. Kaden is a miracle and he will continue to prove to everyone that he can and WILL be this!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to add that though I do not know you guy's personally, I only became familular with your story through TWW when the diagnosis was made. I started to think and pray for you guys then. I followed your story/progress with Kaden. I don't have a personal experience with CDH, actually I have never heard of it before I heard Kaden was diagnosed with it. I then started to research it. I will say that I have made it aware to my friends and family what CDH is and how Kaden, among so many children struggle with this horrible and unfair diagnosis. My heart really pours out to your family but I really admire your persistence to get through this. Kaden has awesome parents!

ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled that Kaden is doing better. Reading how the docs didn't know what else to do for him was so sad and upsetting. Time was exactly what worked for my daughter. I hope & pray for Kaden each day. He is a beautiful baby who will amaze everyone as he beats CDH.
